You've got your degree in Engineering (or equivalent work experience). You've been in your entry-level job for the last year or so. Now you are ready for the next step.

Apply your electrical automation systems experience to this field role performing Field Service activities, creating Service Work Reports, identifying and solving customer issues, and acting as a local technical advisor to customers across the USA.

If you have 1-4 years of electrical experience (power generation or turbo machinery ideally) this may be for you.

The office is in Houston, TX but this role can be 100% remote, with up to 80% travel from any location with access to a major airport for domestic travel.

In this role you'll apply your knowledge of electrical and control systems. You'll be carrying out equipment troubleshooting, repairs and commissioning of equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • performing Field Service activities according to the work plan
  • creating Service Work Reports
  • identifying and proposing improvements of products and solutions if warranted

Requirements

  • BS Engineering (or equivalent work experience)
  • 1-4 years of field experience (preferably in power generation or turbo machinery)
  • Competent with programmable logic controllers, frequency drives, electrical protection devices, computer systems, ethernet networks, firewalls and OPC-servers
  • Able to work remote/travel up to 80%
  • Bilingual in Spanish is always advantageous but not essential

You'll be organized and customer-service focused, with good communication skills. You'll quickly learn your product and system knowledge.
